The Friends of the Harriet Beecher Stowe House, Inc. is organized to enhance and support community and historical activities related to the Harriet Beecher Stowe House and the preservation of the Harriet Beecher Stowe House in Walnut Hills, Cincinnati, Ohio, in conjunction with the Ohio Historical Society and other community groups.
The Friends of the Harriet Beecher Stowe House Stowe are responsible for the daily
operations of the House, routine cleaning and maintenance, and providing historical interpretation and public use opportunities. The Friends are an all volunteer organization.

While we eventually want to grow in a way that will support paid staff for certain operations, right now the House’s future lies in the hands of willing volunteers like you.

We request that our volunteers consider an annual membership ($25 for household membership, although we do offer $10 membership for an individual and $5 for full-time students and those over age 65). Dues are optional, however, for volunteers.
